In 2023, I taught the autoharp section at the Buckeye Dulcimer Fesitval in Ashley ,Ohio which was originally planned for April, 2020, but due to the pandemic, it was postponed until April, 2021, then 2022, then 2023. This section is oriented towards the experienced beginner and the intermediate level player and will consist of 12-15 hours of instruction in the workshop format. The course will be structured on progressive skill development beginning with evaluation of technique and continuing through specific picking techniques, background playing, playing within the arpeggio, accurate melody playing, music arranging, and jam session performance and etiquette using various music genres as platforms for learning and experimenting.
