Teaching
I truly enjoy teaching musicians of all levels to play the autoharp. I am passionate about the instrument and it is very rewarding to share my knowledge and experience with other enthusiasts. Being self-taught, I really appreciate the value of learning proper technique from the beginning which accelerates learning and delivers greater playing satisfaction.
I offer services for:
- Private autoharp lessons in chromatic and diatonic styles, in-home and via Skype
- Performance and competition preparation and music arranging
- Music arrangement critique
- Workshops for autoharp festivals and local autoharp groups

Performing
In my community, there are several folk music jam sessions that occur weekly and they provide me the opportunity to try out new material for vocal and instrumental tunes. I often give house concerts for friends particularly when I’m working on new competition pieces or preparing for a festival concert. The intimacy of a small audience creates an inviting atmosphere for a shared musical experience.
